Introducing our new line by Artist Brent Koenders

Brent has been fascinated with jewelry making since a very young age. His grandfather had a jewelry manufacturing company in Detroit, MI where he was born and raised. Brent is a master jeweler with over 20 years' experience. He has always loved doing metal fabrication. That love and fascination has lead him to the art of Mokume-Gana which was developed in the 17th century by Japanese metalsmiths to adorn and decorate samurai swords. All pieces are 100% handmade using silver and copper. There are no two pieces alike.

Bridal the Custom Way

All that is required of the customer is to provide an idea. The idea can be as simple as a piece of jewelry that they have seen or a picture of a piece of jewelry in a magazine.
This begins the creative process and initiates discussion. After some preliminary sketches revisions can be made and then the process continues to further refine the idea.

The sketches are then interpreted using CAD and any revisions are made as necessary. The customer sees the piece of jewelry in every phase towards it's completion. This provides the customer with opportunities to make changes and then finally approve the CAD rendering.

After the CAD rendering is approved, a wax mold is made using the image and the piece is cast.

After casting the piece any stones required for the design are then set and the surfaces are filed or buffed as needed. The final piece of original custom jewelry is then presented to our valued customer with an appraisal by our GIA certified appraiser.

We offer both brand name jewelry and custom jewelry but you would be surprised that in many cases the custom piece of jewelry can cost less. There can be a considerable savings if the customer is supplying their own gold, diamonds or gemstones.
